Neil Gaiman Ticket Refund Information

Beginning Tuesday, August 12, Mammoth Comics will start refunding tickets to the canceled show "An Evening With Neil Gaiman."

If you purchased your ticket from Barnes & Noble:

Present your ticket at Mammoth Comics and your refund will be given by check.

If you purchased your ticket from Mammoth Comics:

We will make every effort to refund your ticket the same way you made your purchase.

If you cannot personally return your ticket you may mail your original tickets to Mammoth Comics. Include your original tickets and a self-addressed and stamped return envelope and a phone number in case we need to contact you. You should make a photo copy of the tickets for your own records. We do not refund service charges. Service charges are collected to pay for the processing of your credit card and the shipping and handling of your tickets. The total price of your tickets will be refunded.

Normally, contact must be made within 30 days after the event has been canceled to receive a refund. After some research, this seems pretty standard. Therefore, those who contacted me within that time frame will be given first priority. However, seeing as it is already 60 days after cancellation, in good faith we will be extending refunds until September 30 (over 100 days), 2008.

Of course, Mammoth Comics is very sorry that this has happened and in such a lengthy time frame. We hope that you realize the efforts we have put forth on your behalf and the massive amounts of time and energy it has taken. We have gone out of our way to keep all bridges standing. Even though Barnes & Noble have officially separated themselves from this event we are taking up the slack and refunding their customers as well. We would like to thank Neil Gaiman for all of his help and understanding in this process. As a true fan, we hope he can make it to Tulsa in the near future. He has truly been missed. This event was highly anticipated and people came in from L.A. to New York and everywhere in between. Again, we at Mammoth Comics are sorry to all of the fans that share our disappointment and very hopeful that we can make it up to all of them in the future.
